Kirby Gilliam, Owner
Born and raised in Anderson, IN, Kirby Gilliam decided to become a board-certified music therapist after working as a music educator in the public school system. Kirby saw the power of music - addressing non-musical needs- of her students and believed her community needed this service. Kirby started PlainSong as a way to serve her community through music. Kirby works with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities, geriatrics, dementia patients, mental health patients, and more. When Kirby is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her husband Steven, baby girl, Eliza, and her two dogs, Dexter and Dinah.
Sarah Taylor, MT-BC
Sarah, a board-certified music therapist, was born and raised in Anderson, IN. She received her
bachelor’s degree in music therapy from University of Louisville after completing an internship at
Bi-County Services in Bluffton, IN. Sarah believes that music can be a life long activity for
everyone! Sarah has worked with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for the
last 12 years. She loves seeing clients get excited about music! Sarah lives in Anderson with
her husband, Chris and children, Caroline and Jackson.
Alli Greear, MT-BC, NMT
Alli is a board-certified music therapist- originally from Monticello, Indiana. After completing her internship with Plainsong, Alli chose to move to the Anderson area to continue her career with the Plainsong family. Alli chose to become a Music Therapist because she loves people and music- combining the two would be the ultimate dream job. Her favorite thing about Music Therapy is the ability to use music to help clients reach goals and gain more independence. Through music we can reach goals that can improve not only quality of life but, independence and self-confidence. In her spare time, Alli enjoys creating music, fishing, and reading a good book.
Andrea Bliscik, MT-BC
Andrea grew up in Ohio and is a graduate of Cleveland State University. She recently completed her internship at a school for individuals with autism, where she used music to help students ages 3-21 work towards their functional goals. In addition to her internship, Andrea completed practicum experiences where she worked with individuals of all ages. She loves getting to connect with her clients through music and working with them to develop and achieve their individual goals.
Julia is a nursing major at Anderson University. She works part-time with PlainSong keeping documentation compliant and helping with many projects including making phone calls, aiding therapists in activities, and keeping our files organized. Julia enjoys singing and acting, and she has played leads in many productions - the most recent being Sophia in Mama Mia!
Holly completed her internship at PlainSong Music Services, LLC. She lives and serves the South Bend, Indiana area and has availability to serve your family.
